Wilson Staff-nhãn hiệu sở hữu nhiều giải major nhất thế giới đến Việt Nam

With the sport of Golf. Each brand that produces Sticks, Balls, Bags, Hats, and other accessories has different strengths.

In this article, I would like to share a few things about the Wilson brand.

Perhaps even the few golfers know that it is not TaylorMade, Titleist or Ping – the ‘big men’ are storming the world, but Wilson is the company with many representatives who own many major tournaments, most in the history of golf.

The message in Wilson Golf’s advertising campaigns over the years is, “Has more major titles than any other company.”

During its 106-year history, Wilson’s brand representatives have earned the company a total of 62 major titles, more than any other brand.

In fact, Wilson’s products are the most noticed and loved and contribute to the major championship golfers located in the iron golf club.

Recently, although not as actively promoted as Titleist or TaylorMade, Wilson’s iron line still has a place throughout the history of the major.

Headquartered in the city of Chicago, Wilson owns many major titles in golf history, 62 times.

During its early history and development, the Wilson brand has made a lot of marks in the sport of Golf and Story.

Wilson’s success stems from his first brand ambassador, Gene Sarazen.

Gene Sarazen won 7/8 major titles with a set of Wilson branded clubs. Sarazen signed with Wilson in 1922 and became the company’s lifelong agent, until his death (1999). This is the contract record of world sports history (75 years).
In addition to Gene Sarazen, Wilson’s big names in the history of golf including Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Walter Hagen, Nick Faldo, Ben Crenshaw.

For the past 100 years, Wilson’s representatives have earned the label the major title, in any decade.

Many people mistake the name Wilson Golf with Wilson Staff.

In fact, Wilson Staff is the premium brand for professional and top amateur golfers.

Other Wilson Golf brands include ProStaff and Ultra.

Wilson’s golf range includes golf clubs, golf balls, accessories, and golfer apparel from amateur to professional.

The company’s prominent brand representatives recently include golfers competing at the PGA Tour: Gary Woodland, Padraig Harrington, Paul Lawrie, Kevin Tway, Brendan Steele, Kevin Streelman, Joaquin Lagergren, Paul Waring.

Besides, there are also many other representatives at the European Tour, LPGA Tour.

Wilson’s most prominent sports product worldwide is tennis.

However, the company also produces equipment for the following subjects: basketball, volleyball, rugby, soccer, baseball, badminton …

It is quite interesting that the predecessor of the powerful Wilson company today is the Schwarzschild & Sulzberger – the main function is to slaughter cattle, process meat products, born in 1913.

In 1915, Mr. Thomas E. Wilson was appointed president of the company, changing his name to Thomas E. Wilson Company.

After Wilson acquired Hetzinger Knitting Mills, the company turned to produce sports uniforms, bags and golf balls, and equipment for soccer and basketball.

Wilson then focused more on the sport of golf (brand Wilson Staff) with the production of the R90 line of irons.

The resounding victories of brand representative Gene Sarazen in the 1920s and then the British Open (The Open) in 1932 brought the brand to the zenith.

Wilson is currently owned by the leading sports group Amer Sports. The Finnish giant bought Wilson in 1989, just three years after it acquired a majority stake in the cult club.

We hope Wilson will always keep its brand of sports products in the market and grow continuously.
